A conjunction assessment tool watches for close approaches between your spacecraft and other tracked objects, then gives you the means to act on them. Every gray dot is a candidate maneuver Valar evaluated. The red line is the Pareto frontier: candidates where no other option cuts more collision risk for the same or less delta-V.
A parametric sweep across delta-V and maneuver direction produces dozens of candidate burns for a single conjunction. Pareto filtering narrows that field to the ones actually worth considering: candidates where no other option delivers more collision risk reduction for the same or less delta-V, so a spacecraft operator is choosing between real trade-offs instead of guessing at one.
