Valar takes spaceflight safety to new heights through partnership with Spaceflux

In a move that promises to advance the field of Space Surveillance and Tracking (SST), Valar and Spaceflux have entered into a pivotal partnership that aims to provide Valar's customers with advanced, end-to-end solutions for orbit management and navigation safety.

The alliance was first solidified several months ago when Valar played a critical role in the historic launch of GS-1 by Gravity Space. This marked the first commercial cubesat ever to be deployed in geostationary orbit. Partnering with the spacecraft’s manufacturer and operator Space Inventor, VALAR has been employing Spaceflux’s global optical telescope network to offer end-to-end Flight Dynamics solutions following the innovative Flight Dynamics as-a-Service model.

In praising Valar's impact, Mark Thompson, CEO of Gravity Space, states:

"Valar’s innovative service has not just enhanced our operational capabilities but significantly reduced our costs by enabling advanced tracking through telescopes."

Spaceflux's optical telescope network features state-of-the-art sensors that are among the largest and most powerful for SST in the market, being able to track the faintest objects in GEO. This enables Valar to offer its customers unprecedented spaceflight safety while reducing the need for unnecessary evasive maneuvers.

Izan Peris, co-founder at Valar, elaborates, "This partnership amplifies our capabilities. Spaceflux provides the accurate and timely SST data, and Valar's analytics and orbit management expertise turns the data into actionable insights for our clients."

Looking ahead, Valar aims to extend its market reach by incorporating Spaceflux's advanced tracking capabilities to meet the increasing demand in both GEO and LEO regimes. "This strategic partnership demonstrates our capabilities and shows what can be achieved by two innovative startup companies in the field of space safety and navigation. It only confirms that there is growing demand for such services and together with Valar we are at the forefront of this expanding market." says Marco Rocchetto, CEO at Spaceflux.

This strategic partnership positions VALAR at the forefront of spaceflight safety and surveillance. By amalgamating Spaceflux's telescope network with VALAR's cutting-edge analytics and Flight Dynamics as-a-Service model, both companies are poised to redefine space operations and navigation safety.
